從農(nóng)場(chǎng)到餐桌供應(yīng)鏈環(huán)節(jié)，一切變得皆有可能。美國(guó)第二大零售商Costco斥資4億美元在美國(guó)自建1億噸的雞肉加工基地，以優(yōu)化其在烤雞和雞肉分割品食材的價(jià)值鏈，預(yù)計(jì)2019年中期在中國(guó)上海首家開(kāi)市客(Costco)實(shí)體店開(kāi)業(yè)后，Costco在美國(guó)的雞肉加工基地將于2019年9月投產(chǎn)運(yùn)行。這一新的商業(yè)模式已引起美國(guó)多位經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)家及供應(yīng)鏈管理大師的關(guān)注，Costco這一史無(wú)前例的舉措或?qū)⒃诹闶劢绾褪称贩?wù)領(lǐng)域掀起變革潮流。零售邊界被打開(kāi)后，業(yè)態(tài)界限將不再清晰，供應(yīng)鏈合作、合建顯得尤為重要。

Costco, the second-largest retailer in the US, spent $400 million to build a 100 million-ton chicken meat processing base in the United States to optimize its value chain for roast chicken and chicken part as food making material, and the first physical store of Costco in China is expected to open in mid-2019 in Shanghai. Following the opening of the Costco store, Costco's chicken processing base in the United States will be put into operation in September 2019. This new business model has attracted the attention of many economists and supply chain management experts in the United States. Costco's unprecedented initiative will revolutionize the retail and food service sectors. The boundaries of the business will no longer be clear after the retail border being opened, and supply chain cooperation and joint construction are particularly important.
